sat 2

i had posted this before but i did not get any proper answers...so here goes again.

my sat 1 score is good : 2290 (math+cr 1550)
im in the top 1% of my class academically
my recos and essays are very good
my Ecs are also very good.
the problem is my sat 2. these are my scores- math 2=780, math1=720 (i dont know how !!), chem=620 and literature=610(again...i am amazed !)

so do how important do u think sat 2 is ? my intended major is neither science/literature. do u think i still have a chance ? do u know anyone who was not an athlete to have gotten in with sat 2s like these ?

i'm really nervous. Any comments will be highly appreciated.

I’m in a similar boat as you, 2220 SAT but only 740 Math 2, 650 USH, 600 French.
So, same question

bump…???

You should have a good chance at Columbia regardless. They won’t reject you based solely on those sat2 scores. Your SAT1 is great and your GPA is great. Your other parts of the application can easily outshine your SAT2’s. If it helps, one of my close friends was accepted to Stanford without even submitting SAT2’s (he was asian male, no hooks). They won’t make or break you!

they consider the 2 highest sat II scores
