SAT= 2000 ACT= 31 Send both?

SAT= 2000 ACT= 31 which is about a 2040 when converted to the SAT. Since they are about the same should I send both?

id say a 31 is better

Why not check which is a better percentile?

I’d send the ACT score.

There isn’t much of a reason to not send both. If a 31 ACT is competitive at your target universities, there is no reason a 2000 SAT shouldn’t be. Technically, the 31 is better and you should send that. However, if there is any gross inconsistency with the subscores of your ACT, you may wish to reconsider. For example, if your english or critical reading score were below 22, while your other scores were 10 points higher, I would avoid sending the ACT. Similarly, if your SAT has any significantly lower subscores, I would avoid sending it.

It may even depend on what school you are planning on applying to. For example, I recently visited a Georgia Tech information session and learned that they do not consider the ACT science portion. In my case, this decreased the strength of my ACT score such that I am strongly considering sending my SAT score instead. I would suggest employing a similar strategy, especially since many universities choose not to look at the SAT Writing section.

thank you for your advice. I think my subscores are better on the ACT 32- english 33- math but 29 on reading and science whereas SAT Cr-680 and math-650 writing- 670
