I’m a junior, and I’m moving my SAT Subject test dates for June. The thing is, that doesn’t leave me with enough room for retaking the SAT this year.

Is it best to retake the SAT as a senior or junior, or do colleges not care?

I can’t sign up for a SAT date later than June, will the collegeboard website have later dates up for next year later on? Like when? (October?)

There are dates in October, November and December

Yeah, they’ll have the 2010 test dates out sometime later. I’m thinking sometime early in the summer.

It doesn’t matter when you retake it. Just make sure you’re ready to retake it. Like it’s not smart to just retake it without doing any additional prep thinking you just naturally got smarter in the last month. And keep in mind that if you apply early to any schools next year, you’ll need to have your SATs done by Nov. Oct is probably the best but most schools accept Nov if you apply early. If you apply RD, then Jan is usually the last testing date.

Also, if you’re REALLY short on time. Think about taking the ACTs since they’re on different months than the SATs. If you do well on the ACT, you won’t have to worry about spending those SAT test dates for the SAT and can take the subject tests during those dates.
