sat:2400, act:?

I got a 2400 on my SAT, should I take the ACT now?
I didn't really want to take the ACT, but would it aid in college admissions in any way?

It's not necessary to take the ACT. It depends which college you would like to go to. My friend got a 2400 with 34 on ACT. He decided not to put the 34 on the ACT since it wasn't perfect.

So I can take the ACT but just not report the score?

Take it. Up to you. If you can get 35-36. Report it for those top-tiers

I don't really see the point in taking the ACT...colleges will look at your SAT score or your ACT score; if you already have a perfect SAT...why waste time writing another test?

so ALL colleges look at BOTh?

Is this is a joke question. Someone actually has a 2400 SAT and wonders if he should take the ACT? If you have a 2400, what kind of additional aid in admission do you think there would be by taking the ACT?

Actually, some schools require the ACT, especially in the Midwest and South. However, sounds like you'll be wanting to apply to the top-tier schools who will all take the SAT instead of the ACT. For these, lol, having a 2400 is more than sufficient; don't worry about padding that with a perfect ACT as well. You've earned all your "test score" points from the adcoms; move on to building your resume in other ways. Congrats!

Unless you intend on applying to an ACT only school like University of Arkansas - Pine Bluff, don't bother.

can you email me or send me a message on how you scored a 2400, because i desparately need your assistance.

University of Arkansas - Pine Bluff

interesting name, i wanna go there!

You don't want to go to University of Arkansas - Pine Bluff, people that go there get <17 on the ACT's. Now you be the judge.

An entering freshman (first-time full or part-time) is admitted unconditionally if he/she:

Has completed the college prep curriculum with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.00 on a 4.00 grading scale

Has taken the required test, ACT preferred; SAT; ASSET accepted).

So you're admitted unconditionally if you have a 2.00 and has taken the ACTs.

awesome!!

btw when it says 2.00/4.00 does that mean unwieghted?
