SAT 2nd Testing

THe first time I took the SAT I got
CR 730, M 800, W 770

The second time, i got
CR 800, M 730, W 800

i dont know if i should send in my second testing, because even though my CR improved by 70 points, my math score dropped by those same 70 points... and i dont want them to see that my math dropped, but simultaneously, a 2400 combined score looks a lot better than the 2300 from my first testing

i dont knowwww what to do!!!

would it help or hurt me to send in my second testing scores?

send it all in and get some humility. in total, the story being told here is that you're smarter than the SAT. The differences you're agonizing over are meaningless to an admissions officer.

Send it, Columbia takes your highest--at least you only write in your highest on your application. You'd have a 2400.

I wouldn't agonize over the -70.

When they say they only look at your highest, even if I take the SAT for a third time, they will still take the highest? (I mean without thinking... gosh she's taken it THREE times) I'm looking to improve ona 2170, with a 680 in writing, I think i can get a 2270 with the extra studying i've done.

Did they institute Score Choice (tm) on the SAT I? When I was a youngin, we couldn't choose which to send, so they all turned up on the Score Report (tm). I think they eventually did away with Score Choice (tm) on the SAT II.
