I am planning on taking 6 SAT 2 subjects , Can I send all of their scores to the desired university or will I have to choose only 3 ??
You can send them all in. Whether the college in question will review them all, or just the top 2, is another question which will be college-specific.
I took four and I still think I took too many. Also, while it’s great to be ambitious, be also pragmatic: can you score high on all 6 tests? If not, go with two or three high scores, not 6 low ones
Realistically, quality bests quantity, so hopefully you are alloting your time well and.choosing tests you’d do well in
You could submit 20. You overestimate any benefit you’ll receive from submitting more than 3 scores
There’s no benefit to taking and submitting six. Like shawnspencer said, focus your studying to ensure that you’ll score excellently on 2-3. No school on the planet requires more than 3. To me excessive SAT2 test taking casts you as a test-robot – a negative.
I took 6 SAT subject tests, but didn’t send them all to any colleges that didn’t require all of my test scores. I agree that you risk coming across as a test-taking robot, if you send them all. I scored fairly well on all of mine, it’s definitely doable because you are picking subjects you should already be pretty good at, so the study time is less than for the SAT. It’s nice to have more chances to do well, but I would still refrain from taking any you don’t think you will do well on. Take your first two or three and see how you do, and then decide if you want/need more.
I was thinking about Math Lv2 , Chem, Bio, Physics, Literature and World History. I want to apply for Stanford so is 3 of those enough ? What about APs ?? Do you recommend a number too ? My intended major is CS
With APs, you’ll be evaluated in the context of your school, so be doing as many/more than the top students in your school.
