I will definitely be taking SAT 2s in Math 2 and Physics either May 5 or June 2.

If I take them in May, I will also have AP exams around that time. I have 4 AP exams definitely (Physics B, Calc BC, Eng Lang, US History) and probably I will take the Physics Cs late.

I don't know if taking the SATs around AP exam time would be good or bad. For Physics, I assume it will be good since we will most likely be reviewing around this time anyway in class. If I take them in June however, I will have been done with school work since mid-May (except for review for the SATs). I guess math could be better in June since I would have time to review, but again, I would have had a month long break from school.

So, if anyone has done something like this and has suggestions, that would be great.

Last year I wanted to take the SAT Bio and AP Bio in May. Sounds great since you kill two birds with one stone. But keep in mind that you MUST take subject-test specific practice tests to prepare. The SAT is usually more content-specific than the AP. APs are more about analyzing. If you are already taking a bunch of 3-hour AP practice tests, practicing for the subject test could get hectic.
In terms of level of difficulty, May and June are both hard for subject tests. CB knows a bunch of AP kids take the tests then.
A month isn’t too bad. People study over the summer for subject tests in october. You’ll be okay if you study every day a little bit for each of your subject tests.
Hope I helped!

EDIT: Try to avoid taking 3 subject tests on the same day. Again, practicing for all three could get hectic. But I am a hypocrite. I’m taking Chem, Math II, and french in June LOL

Taking 3 subject tests on the same day is a disadvantage since you’ll be almost worn out on the 3rd test, unless you are one of those iron-brain people who can do test marathons w/o much problems.

If you’re not in a hurry, whatsoutside, take SAT subjects in June. You’ll be more fresh and will have more time to prepare. Although the contents in the SAT subjects and APs are similar, the formatting are hugely different.

@risubu, I believe it’s a myth that May and June are hard months for subject tests. I got 800 Chem, 780 World His, and 750 Bio in a June session and I find those just as easy as my Physics (800) and Math II (800) in January.
