my friend wanted to know whether SAT2s are really considered for admission, she did decently on her SAT Is and shes taking sat2s tommorow but she wanted to kno since CASE is the only school she applied to other than her safeties Drew and UCONN

I'm sure that a good score will probably show that the applicant is more than qualified in certain academic areas, but I don't see the need to send them along if your ACT and SAT I scores are good.

My scores are as follows (I submitted my SAT II scores as well):

SAT I: 730 CR, 700 M, 730 W
SAT II: 740 Math Ic, 760 Math IIc, 750 Biology E
ACT: 34 Composite; 33 English, 36 Math, 34 Reading, 32 Science

I was accepted early action with these, but I probably would have had the same chance without the SAT IIs. Tell your friend that they're a good supplement, but probably won't be largely considered for admission.

Since the SAT no longer has "score choice", if you have taken any SAT II's at all regardless of score, they will be reported along with the SAT I scores. In the on-line details of "how to apply" on the Case web site, it describes what is required for SAT II submission. (I don't remember the details, but it is described there.) You can call the admissions office to see how they use SAT II scores.
