Does anyone know if UIUC looks at SAT2 scores? I have 2 choices right now:

CHOICE 1:

Take pre-calculus at Baruch College this summer.

Retake SAT1 in October.

Take SAT2 Math 2C in November.

Send UIUC application on the LAST week of November.

Take Calc AB in HS and take May exam.

Self-study Calc BC for May exam.

DOWNSIDE TO CHOICE 1:

NOT submitting UIUC application as early as possible.

CHOICE 2:

Take Calculus 1 at CUNY @ City Tech.

Retake SAT1 in October.

Send UIUC application on the FIRST week of November.

Get 2 FREE periods (NO CALC AB because of summer course) to continue taking Orchestra, and have space for AP Chem.

Self-study Calc BC for exam in May to opt out of Calc 1 and 2 in college, so I can start at Calc 3 Freshman year.

DOWNSIDE TO CHOICE 2:

NO math class Senior Year of HS.

Colleges will think “Hm…this student wants to major in architecture and minor in mathematics…so WHAT THE FLUX?”

There are probably more reasons…that will lower my chances at UIUC.

Which choice would you take? Also, UIUC requires 3.5 years of HS math. If I took Alg1, Alg 2, Geometry, and Trig the first 3 years and Calc 1 in the summer at a college, with no math in my senior year, will I complete the requirement?
