SAT 2's

ok..
i'm not sure if taking more SAT 2's is necessarily better
so far this year i'm taking
Math 1c, Math2c, Chem and Bio
Which should i take next year from
Physics, US Hist, French? or all?

and also i've seen the math SAT's and they are like jokes, but is it true that the Math 1c has little curve? cause that would definetly not be good
and how hard are the Chem and Bio's??

WOW! you are taking a lot of SAT II's (well by standards at least). You should take practice tests or look at the practice questions on the collegeboard website to see which test you're up for or whatever. Also, I think it's easier to take an SAT II right after you complete a course in the subject, but that's just my opinion.

i think maybe you should drop one of the maths tests. If you think the maths' are a joke, you should just go along ith IIC. It wouldn't really show much to colleges if you got 800 in both.. because.. it's just.. strange that you took them both. and yeah, ic has a small curve. It's prob just better if you tkae IIC.

If you take French, and get a high score, you might be exempt from one of those language compulsary class in colleges (i think u penn has that).

I'm taking the Math IC, and most of it I've already had, so it's easy. I've looked at the Math IIC, and I thought the problems were somewhat more difficult.

Here's the deal with the Math SAT II's -

The Math1c's questions are easier, but has virtually no curve. If you miss one, you will lose that 800.

The Math2c has more difficult questions, but has a very generous curve. Usually you can miss 4-5 raw points (3-4 questions) and still come out with an 800.

My recommendation is that if you're good at math, definitely take the 2c. Also, I think it's basically worthless to take both. That's like a cross country runner putting "I know how to walk" on his application.
