I took the SAT 2's back in March. I got a great score on one (US History 750) but did poorly on the other (Lit 630). I know midd doesnt require SAT 2's, but I had designated Midd as one of my sender schools so they already have the bad 630 score. I did reasonably well on my first SAT 1 1400/2140 and I've taken it again with the hope of getting 2200+. Will my bad SAT 2 score hurt my chances of ED at Midd?

Unlike other schools, Midd looks at how you did on your best day, not your worst. They’ll consider the best score you put forward, be it SAT I, IIs, or ACT.

^ Agree. We were told by our GC to take the school at its word that it did not have a preference when it came to ACT or SAT. Son did fine on SAT I, had a mixed bag with the SAT II, but he did much better across the board on his ACT. He only submitted the ACTs and was accepted regular decision.

Of course, we were also advised to wait and see scores before submitting. While it meant paying the 7.50 or whatever it was per school, it was very deliberate as to who was sent what.
