Hey all, I have a question concerning subject tests. My dream school, ILR at Cornell only requires the Math, and I am definitely taking that in May/June. Last year I took World history (790) and bio e (680). I am currently in APUS, and given that I'm pretty good at it, I feel confident that I could score pretty well. Is there a point in taking it? No school seems to require three, and I'll have the two from the world history and math.

Your Bio score is a little low. If USH will be an easy test for you, it’d be good to submit if it’s higher.

Harvard and Georgetown require three SAT IIs; Johns Hopkins and Northwestern require none but recommend three. Thus, if applying to those, you want three good scores and 680 is not bad but three in the 700s would be better particularly if you are planning to apply to Harvard. Otherwise you need only two and if you score high in math you will have the two but if a question of taking them the same day and thus won’t know what you have in math then taking both should ber considered.

Haha I’m definitely not applying to Harvard, but thanks for the info on Hopkins and Georgetown. 680 is pretty bad in my eyes, so I’ll probably take US then.
