SAT 3 MAY 2014

I felt both answers were equally correct

It was a tough one… On the now-defunct “html” answer key that was up yesterday, “evaluate a creative approach” was highlighted as correct. If my memory serves, it was a “primary purpose” question; the key to that question type is specificity with respect to what the author’s attempting to convey. The “describe business practices” answer choice was overbroad. (But hey, I could be wrong.)

You’re probably right, that’s usually what happens to me in CR passages I’ll narrow it down to two answers and get some wrong

@coryspruill If you had an extra math section with grid-in, then that would be question #8 before the actual grid-ins start.

@2400FEVER Yeah, the Roman numeral one was #8… I hate missing one that early. But on a positive note, I “fortuitously happened across” (wink, wink) an old SAT Math question that requires converting a ratio into a probability ON FRIDAY hana… So I was very happy to nail that one.

@coryspruill, I don’t understand what you are saying. Did you have the question on your exam that I asked about earlier?

Guys was the migration passage experimental? Because here’s what I remember about the long passages…
Reading Section 1 : The painter/Rachet passage + Gaming one
Reading Section 2 : Migration + Quantum theory
Reading Section 3 : 2 passages about Herodotus

Or was it like
The painter/ Rachet + Migration
Gaming one + Quantum Theory

How do u guys remember

I dont remember quantum theory

43-44 raw score for math is what score you guys think?

@bozo96, probably in the high 600.

Was the quantum theory/ gaming one the set with two longish

Didn’t mean to do that

…passages that kind of resembled the ACT reading? I think that was the experimental, but I can’t remember. What was the quantum theory passage about? Did that section have vocab?

@Nlfpackers96 The newton passage was about contextual and objective reality. There was some scientest who used some game to explain the concept. And yes this section had vocab. Dont remember if there were two long passages or just this one…
