What do those scores say about me?...
I find this very weird. I actually studied. I felt confident. It was a good day.

Now I am contemplating on taking it a 4th time...

Scores don’t say anything about you. They are just test scores. You are a whole person not the sum of your test scores.

I think you should do two things:

Change something in your preparation. Take a prep class. Study with a friends. Change the book you are using. Change something. If you are just going to do more of the same stuff you will get the same results.

Try the ACT. Both of my kids did much better on the ACT than the SAT.

I don’t think you should take it a fourth time. Three is the oft-quoted max, especially since your scores did not improve significantly each time–unless you do something drastic, there is no reason to think that things will be different this time around.
