so come colleges I want to go to their engineering school or program requires a certain SAT/ACT math score to be able to take that major, it said it is required. However, is there anyway around that? Or is it just something that is preferred? Like I might be interested in Computer science but I might not be able to take it again bc my SAT AND ACT score is below the required score…but I really don’t know.
Depends. Which colleges? Some are much stricter than others and have their own programs.
If you’re below the required score then it might not be a good idea to major in something that’s heavy in math. What’s the minimum that you’re below? If you’re below a 20 on math, for instance, it might be extremely difficult to complete an engineering discipline.
