my SAT score translated to ACT score is a 32-33. 33 is the 99TH PERCENTILE!! 33 is impossible. are online ACT-SAT conversion charts reliable? or is the ACT super easy (or hard)?

SAT and ACT use different percentiles. a 32 is a 97.4% and a 33 is a 98.5% using the SAT scale. The ACT’s percentile reads at or below your level, the SAT is below your level.

32 = 2130 (97.4%)-2180( >98.5%), so like a 2130-2150
33 = 2190(98.5%)-2260 ( >99.??%), its generally 2190-2220.

Depends on the college though on how the scores compare from who applied with what test.

okay thanks…

Yeah it’s weird

I have a 2270 SAT = 98 percentile
and a 32 ACT = 99 percentile

Even though the 2270 is clearly better.

^Hello, they use different percentiles.

based on my experience, it is highly unreliable
i live in midwest so basically everyone takes the act
and a lot of people (even if they are kinda dumb) got
at least 34. but their average sat score is around 1900~2000
which is kinda weird but true

the people i talked about are only tiny part of thousands of people
who took both tests but i think there is something to it
