From the people who have taken both, which test do you feel had a more difficult math section, and what kind of stuff made it harder?

I've taken ACT practice tests and an SAT and I can say that the math is more straightforward on the ACT...it's not a logic puzzle test in disguise.

act is harder material in a shorter more rushed amount of time. sat math is more basic, but many of the hard problems require a very learnable form of logic, but with practice you can easily notice the little tricks. the timing on the sat is better because you can knock off the easy problems quickly without much effort and save the rest of the time for the hard ones since its broken up into three 25 or 20 minute sections. you cant do that on the act because its 60 problems in 60 minutes.

i did far better on the sat (700 math vs 26 act math) so I am a tad bit biased, but certainly no more biased than most are towards the act.
