This is the situation I am in. I have sent my SAT II scores and previous SAT I scores to Penn. I am rushing my SAT I scores from November so that they get there in time. However, I also sent my ACT scores from October, which weren’t as good as my SAT scores. I’m trying to cancel the sending of the ACT (if that is possible now, is it? does anyone know?). But if it isn’t, will my lower ACT score (28 comp w/out essay added in, probably 29 with essay) hurt my SAT scores (1420 now, probably higher after the Nov. results come out)? Please let me know what you all think I should do. I’m very nervous about this. Thanks.

i dont think you can cancel so just hope that they take your highest score, which im sure they do, and make your profile with that.

Paro, what do you mean by "profile"? I hope they look only at your best scores, but will they even see a bad score or do they just regard it b/c they are giving you the benefit of the doubt?

i've heard that a secretary inputs your highest scores and that the officers see only the end holistic portfolio of your application.
but i cant confirm that.

Do I contact my regional admissions director and instruct them to do this, or how do I go about insuring that my "profile" is with the SATs.

I think that it is too late, just give them the benefit of the doubt and assume that they will just factor the higher of the two into their decision..
