SAT/ACT Question

I have a 2030 SAT (670 M, 660 CR, 700 W) and a 34 ACT (36 E, 35 S, 33 M, 31 R). Will the high ACT make up for the lower SAT? I hear notre dame is big on test scores, and my SAT is just below the range...

I would expect that they would look at the ACT and not the SAT in that situation - they look at the best score, just like they have all of the partial SAT scores, but only look at the best.

I was pretty much in the same situation as you, only my scores were even a little worse! I had a 2010 sat and a 33 act and I got in… so I’m sure your act scores will make up for it :)

thanks.
Tralada, were you accepted EA this year?

Yeah I was!!

I was in the same situation as you- I had a 35 ACT and a 2100 SAT - and I just didn’t submit the SAT score. They don’t require it, so you don’t have to. However, even if you turn them both in, they will look at the 34, not the SAT.
