Nearly every school I applied to accepts the ACT in replacement of the SAT (reasoning and subject).

I asked this question a couple of weeks ago (or earlier, don't remember), but didn't get much of a response.

I sent in my SAT Subject scores in as well as my ACT scores. I'm planning on taking the SAT Subjects again, but, in the meantime, can I ask the colleges to please disregard my SAT Subject scores and only consider my ACT score?

Will they actually do it, or am I just hitting at a random bush? I remember calling my colleges after the last topic I posted, but they didn't help too much. I don't think the people on the phone (for the most part) knew much about the admissions process.
