SAT/ACT score to get into FSU

<p>What is the lowest sat/act score you can get to get into fsu if you have a good gpa?
What is the lowest you've seen someone get accepted with?</p>

<p>I have a high gpa of 4.2, but a low act score of 21. </p>

<p>I don’t know what the lowest is, but a 21 ACT is quite low. To make the 25-75 range, you have to make a 25. I would think that the ACT would make your grades look somewhat inflated. Have you taken the SAT at all?</p>

<p>I believe a 21 is the bare minimum that FSU accepts, although that by no means is going to guarantee that you’ll get in. Neither does a 4.2 GPA, either. </p>

Applicants should take each exam more than once, since we use the highest subscores to create the ACT composite and SAT total.
In addition to the applicant’s overall composite on the ACT or total score on the SAT, the following minimum subscores are required:
Writing - 21 on the ACT English or 21 on the ACT E/W or 500 on the SAT writing
Math - 21 on the ACT math or 500 on the SAT math
Reading - 22 on the ACT reading or 500 on the SAT critical reading

Having these minimum subscores does not guarantee admission. The typical student admitted to the University has higher subscores.
