Hey all,

I'm currently a junior enrolled in 3 AP classes. I have absolutely no ECs other than self-studying violin.

On the topic of SAT/ACT study, I purchased the Bluebook (Second Edition) and The Real ACT Prep Guide. Will these books allow me to study for the tests and get a 2100+/30+? I diagnosed myself -- the questions I usually miss are due to incorrectly reading the question and "second guessing". Other questions are due to lack of knowledge. Do you guys have any advice to overcome that? How much should I study a day?

I started visiting the ACT and SAT QoTD sites this January, and I still do.

As for ECs, I have no idea what do...my school isn't even helpful. I heard that students with certain GPAs should be receiving a NHS invitation soon. My GPA is 4.0. I couldn't do any ECs freshman and sophomore year because I didn't have any transportation and my parents had "strict rules" (I don't think I need to elaborate here). This year however, I can do quite a bit. Is it too late for me?

It's boring staying at home doing nothing. I could be helping out kids or applying my skills.

Any help is appreciated, thanks.
