SAT, ACT, subject Tests

So I am kind of stuck here. My mom is suggesting I focus everything on just studying for the SAT, but i want to study for the SAT, ACT, and 2 subject tests. I mean, it would work out fine since the ACT comes early fall then a few weeks later would be the SAT, then the 2 subject Tests (U.S. History and Chemistry). Anyway, i am worried if i focus only on the SAT I might do bad again ( 1st time: 1150; 2nd time: 1250, 3rd time: this fall hoping for a 1750+) and be screwed for my college applications.

So What do you think i should do?

Plus i just moved from california to a different state, into a private school and now i have to take 8 classes plus a class online to fulfill my private school and state graduation requirements and work on the senior capstone project. So first semester is going to be brutal for me...

Doing 2 SAT Subject Tests is a good idea, as most top colleges either require or recommend it. It would be great if you could write both the SAT and the ACT, but if you paid attention in class and are a good student, the ACT should be no problem. Write the SAT a third time, but if you do badly again, I strongly suggest you focus on the ACT, because my friends and I found it a lot easier. I got a 34 without even prepping! If you just allocate 1 hour a day for your prep, you can do it. SAT subject tests are not easy, but it’s nothing you can’t do if you study; plus AP/IBHL Classes for chem and history will make the tests REALLY easy (personal experience). Good luck in whatever you decide to do!

P.S. Sorry for your problem…I’ve gone through the same :(

Edit: My friend got a 34. She got mad at me for passing it off as my own achievement :)
