Hi-
Does FSU super score the ACT and the SAT test ?
Does Floridas Bright Futures also super score the ACT and SAT ?

On the FSU admissions status page, mine indicates high school
transcripts received. Does the FSU status page ever display your
FSU weighed GPA ?

You can call and ask what your recalculated FSU GPA is. They will gladly give it to you. It will not show up on your status page. And yes they superscore, but BF does not.

“Sections of the ACT or SAT or CPT from different test dates may be used to meet the test criteria. Sections of different test types may not be combined.”

That’s straight off of the website that Bright Futures is run through…facts.org

Maybe they just started superscoring the ACT, but I know for sure that they do, because if they didn’t I would not qualify.

I just read the same thing today. This is from the Bright Futures website, under Initial Eligibility Requirements for 2012 High School Graduates:

•Best combined score of 1270 SAT I/SAT Reasoning Test (based on the combined Critical Reading and Math sections only) or best composite score of 28 ACT (excluding the writing section)
•The writing sections for both the SAT and ACT will not be used in the composite
•SAT Subject Tests exams are not used for Bright Futures eligibility
•ACT scores are rounded up for scores with .5 and higher; SAT scores do not require rounding
•Sections of the SAT or ACT from different test dates may be used to meet the test criteria
•For spring eligibility evaluations, test dates through January 31 will be admissible
•For summer eligibility evaluations, test dates through June 30 will be admissible

Then this is a new change for this year, because they have never superscored in the past. It was always all about having a composite score of 28. My bad.

I have to wonder though if this is in part due to the fact they’re raising the requirements on the ACT & SAT.
