<p>My question is: when I apply to colleges, will my good SAT Writing score cancel out my bad ACT English score and will my good ACT Reading score cancel out my bad SAT CR score in the view of adcoms?</p>

<p>You will send either the sat or ACT to adcoms. You will not send both. Therefore send the strongest score. A 34 ACT correlates to a 2260 SAT, therefore you should send your ACT score, since it is higher. Besides, most colleges don’t consider the writing portion on the SAT, they only consider Math and Critical Reading. The Writing section was only added a few years ago.</p>
