SAT advice needed!

I'm a junior in high school. On the SATs as a sophomore, I got a 690 on the CR, a 620 on the Math, and a 710 on the writing. However, many of the schools that I am looking at are elite, and I don't think that these scores will do (I understand that scores aren't everything, but a strong SAT makes you look very good, combined with a versatile application). I would really appreciate some tips on how to study(with a particular emphasis on mathematics) as well as some suggestions as to the best study guides. I will be taking the exam in May, so a schedule of when to begin studying, and what to study would be really helpful.

Start studying now, with the College Board’s official guide (the Blue Book). Take a practice test, then go through it THOROUGHLY to try to understand every single question you missed and why. Take notes on the kinds of questions you’re consistently missing to identify patterns. Are you missing mostly geometry? Are you making careless errors? Are you missing a little of everything?

Since everyone’s weaknesses are different, it’s hard to know exactly how you should prep until you know exactly what you need to work on. Once you’ve identified your problem areas, start hammering them hard.

I agree, find your weaknesses and make them you’re strengths. Then practice everything and your weaknesses will be thoroughly eliminated.
