SAT and ACT december scores for UC?

If I am taking both SAT and ACT in December then do I still report my previous scores or do I check score not received? Will they look at my other scores rather than my December scores if I put a score down?

As far as I know, the UC application specifically asks you to forward ALL scores. Further, the collegeboard.com website disables the “score choice” option for UC schools… so even if you wanted to send only one sitting, you aren’t allowed to by collegeboard.

App requests known scores so you should put them. They use official scores to determine admission and thus if Dec scores are better, they will be used.

Don’t worry. Admissions doesn’t start reading applications until January, anything they look at before that is just demographics. Put the score you have, even if that means you received a poor score. Then, mark that you are retaking your tests in December. Furthermore, in the additional comments section after the personal statement, make sure you reiterate that you are retaking the tests in December. They don’t need a long explanation for why, just a simple sentence. You want to make sure that each score is there because a missing test is worse than a lower score.

^agreed, make a note of it in the additional info section. When you take the tests in december, make sure you have one of the free score reports sent directly to the UC. And if you send your scores to one UC, all the UC’s will be able to access them, so you can save money like this. Good luck :)
