Hello! I was wondering if I had to give UC's both my SAT and ACT scores or if I could choose which one is better. Also, I've taken the SAT twice, but would I have to report the weaker one as well if I were to report my SAT scores?

Also, I was wondering which scores to give. My SAT results were CR: 800, M: 750, W: 590 whereas my ACT scores were: Composite: 33, Writing: 33, Math: 34, Reading: 34, Science, 32 and Writing w/ essay: 31. Would you recommend giving only my ACT scores or sending in both?

If you send SAT you must send all SAT scores. You do not have to send both SAT and ACT. Nevertheless, in your case you should send both in which case the UCs will determine which, the SAT or ACT, they believe is higher and use it to determine admission.

Okay thank you for your replies! Would your opinion on sending my SAT’s in change if i were to say that my second time I still got 590 on writing, my reading went down to 690 and my math was 770?

No, you should still send them. Since almost all colleges superscore the SAT, they will see that your math improved by 20 points, giving you a higher score than before. If anything, that would help.
