SAT and Common App-Enlighten Me

On my Common App, it has me list my SAT and ACT scores (2160 and 34). While I plan on submitting both to most schools, I feel like I would be better off just submitting my ACT to my reach schools.

That said, my question is this: Even if I only submit my ACT score, will colleges still be able to see the SAT score I listed on the testing section of the Common App? I don't want this comparatively lower score to hurt me.

Thanks

If you do not planning on submitting the score, do NOT put it on the Common Application. Otherwise schools will see it.

Colleges will consider the highest score, so it really doesn’t matter. Particularly since a 2140 is already a really good score.

I wouldnt put the 2160 on the common app, it might make the 34 look like a fluke.

If colleges like the rest of your application they are looking for reasons to ACCEPT you not DENY you…that is why they superscore & take either ACT or SAT. They look for the highest score, all of this talk of “don’t take the SAT more than twice because it makes you look desperate” or “don’t report a low score because it makes the high score look like a fluke” is overthinking the process.

i would answer but I really dont know…
