SAT and Student ID Issues

I’m not sure if this is even the correct website to post this but I need some help with registering for the SAT. As a little background, I went to school A freshmen year, taking the PSAT once that year. I then transferred to school B beginning in sophomore year. I took the PSAT once sophomore and junior year at school B and then the SAT junior year. With all of those, I believe from my memory, I did not put my school B student ID because I didn’t remember it. Now I am trying to register for the SAT and when I go to “Update Personal Info” the computer has my school A ID and won’t let me change it. So I guess my question is- Does the incorrect ID matter for getting my SAT score or does anyone know how I can change it to my current school ID?

If you took the PSAT twice and the SAT once with the wrong data, it appears that it doesn’t matter.

But it wouldn’t hurt to call College Board and check. 1 (866) 630-9305

I thought it might be stored in your CB Account Profile, but I don’t see it there either.

Let us know what you find, for future reference.

I remember telling my kids not to put in their high school ID at all for outside of their school mandated test, all results (sat at another school on a Saturday) ended up being sent to the school anyway and put on their transcript. Keep your school ID out of it unless it saves you the reporting $$ (which it does for some unis)

@RichInPitt I just decided to leave it as is as you said- if its been that way it probably doesn’t matter. I called College Board and there doesn’t seem to be a good option in their calling menu to ask about this. Also, on the paper, I have to bring to take the SAT (I forgot what it’s officially called) it doesn’t even have the student ID on there but has my school, name, etc. However, as I am writing this I am now wondering if having this wrong ID could end in me not getting my scores. Since I registered on my account, I shouldn’t worry about this, right??
