(I'm sure I saw a similar thread like this but I just can't find it. Can anyone tell me where it is if they know by any chance? )

What are the subjects that overlap a lot b/w SAT subject tests and AP tests? I'm studying for few sat subject tests (science ones and history) and I'm wondering if I should study for AP as well.

My school does not offer any AP courses so this will have to be a self-study,
and since I'm going to take SAT subject tests anyway, why not take AP tests on the same subjects?

Are there any subjects that overlap pretty well ?

I think US, Chem, Bio, and Physics probably overlap a lot.

would that be physics b or c?

yeah, definitely us history… not sure about the others…

Physics B, Physics C goes in depth with calculus in fewer topics than B.

US History and Biology AP level is more then enough for the SAT II

SAT Chemistry was really easy with AP Chem, also SAT Physics was easy with Physics B. If you took Physics C you can practically sleep through the SAT paper! Ha. SAT Math doesn’t overlap substantially with the AP Calculus AB, so I wouldn’t take the AP Calc AB if you’re looking to minimize work.
