SAT&AP Prep Books

Hey guys. I just wonder which reference books would you recomend me with the SAT& AP tests. Since I am an international from China, English is not my native language. Thus, I need to get a vocabulary builder, so which books regard with vocabulary study are better?

I basically know there are Barron's, Kaplan and Princeton Review, three major publishers have such variety books. So I wonder which one is the best for every subject or AP course.

Thank you.

does anyone here could help?

If you want to improve your vocabulary, I would go out and buy Word Smart.

um.. i have just bought word power of kaplan..but there are only 750 words in it though. I just wonder if i can find some dictionaries or builders have a large volum of vocabulary. Anyway, thank you all the same.

3500 words from Barron

3500 words from Barron
this is everybody's choice
um, hey, what grade are you in? do you need any AP review books helping? i have AP cal and AP phy that i hardly touched. Barron. interested?
i have wordsmart too, but not a big fan of it, i usually use GRE hongbao to build up my vocab

GRE hongbao?

to be honest.. i quite doubt this book. does it helpful?

and where can i get the 3500 words from Barron? this list is included in barron's how to prepare for new SAT?

i will be studying as a junior this fall in a HS in US. so ...i wonder if i can take any AP courses. Thanks

it is sure helpful if you can bite down the words...
and they are amazingly useful just in real life
ppl who said the GRE words are useless are the ppl who didn't get a good GRE score and never had a choice to come to US
Barron...online..
just load yourself with AP, that is what i did at lesat..and i don't find it a bit stressful...um..i should say, it is somewaht stressful last week tho.

If english is not your first language, I HIGHLY recommend getting a book about Latin and Greek roots! Those are generally more beneficial than golfing down 3,500 words~!

okay. i c.

maybe i should get a HONGBAO and stick to it?

i have already download some material about roots, prefix and suffix. however, i think i don't have such environment for me to understand those. is there a book have roots and examples available?

ohh. i don't know.
depends how much time you are willing to spend and your goal
plus hongbao is a mental destroyer...
like last Month test, there was a French work at SC that was not even in Hongbao
