SAT AP Subject Tests

Hello!

I am going to be a sophomore this year, and I heard that UC’s are gonna be test blind when I apply for them. Is that the same for SAT subject tests?

Thanks

Yes. But even before, most programs did not require subject tests See:

Do you live in CA?

“Test-blind for fall 2023 and fall 2024: Campuses will not consider test scores for California public and independent high school applicants in admissions selection,”

Yes Im from CA. So they wont consider SAT and Subject Test?

Test blind means test scores of any kind will not be considered for admission purposes.

From the UC website:

[quote]
Test-blind for fall 2023 and fall 2024: Campuses will not consider test scores for California public and independent high school applicants in admissions selection, a practice known as “test-blind” admissions. Test scores could still be considered for other purposes such as course placement, certain scholarships and eligibility for the statewide admissions guarantee.
