SAT/Appliation Question

So I am going to apply to university of georgia, their early application deadline is 10/15, but i am going to take the sat on 10/6 and the scores wont be available till 10/25, if i send in early application will they still be able to see my new scores from 10/25 if I send them in after the application is due?

Also, if i feel that my first semester senior grades can really be amazing, and boost me up, would it be more worthwhile to not apply early action?

I was at an information session last week and I’m 100% sure they said that as long as THE TEST WAS ADMINISTERED before the deadline, it’s okay and will be considered.

And it may or may not be worth it to wait to apply… I’m in the same position as you (goofed off in my normal classes sophomore and freshman year, aced my APs, but I’m taking all APs that interest me next year), so I paid close attention during this part… For early action, they consider ONLY what they call the “big three” which is GPA and course rigor (these 2 matter most) and then SAT/ACT; you don’t even need any essays or recommendations for early action. If you think you won’t get great recommendations or can’t write good essays (they require 4 if you apply regular decision), but you have a decent GPA (3.6+, but they only look at your core GPA and give you an added .5 on each AP/IB course) and a decent SAT score (1200+ two-part), then apply early, especially because they hardly ever deny anyone… They usually defer people if they aren’t admitted. If you need to bring up your GPA though, and aren’t worried about a recommendation or the essays, as well as them taking extracurriculars and what not into account, then I’d wait until regular decision.

Most schools put deadlines regarding the last possible testing date. It might indicate that you need to take the SAT on or before the October testing date, for example.

@Eli thanks for your reply, its very helpful

any EC’s I’m doing senior year will still be on there early action right? And I’ve got a 1950 three part, and 1320 two part and thats just on my first SAT i’ve got the June one to come. and I’ve got 6 APS and 4 honors classes through highschool. in GA an A- counts for a 4.0 right? I read somewhere it counts for a 3.7. if it does count for a 4.0 then I have a 3.8 UW and 4.1 W, you think all this is enough to get in? I appreciate your help btw
