SAT August 26, 2017 Discussion

@acomfysofa Dude, me too! Goal was a 1500+ but got a 1460 :((

Yay! I improved my score 70 points and got a 1560! Got 800 on math which makes me super happy. So glad this process of tests is finally over!

Son got a 1570 - super happy for him. Wants to retake because he didn’t get a perfect in either LOL.

S went up in English and down in Math from March. Hoping all of his schools take superscore.

1560! 800 on Math, 760 on reading & writing! 38/40 on reading and writing/language! 6 out of 8 on analysis for Essay, 7 out of 8 on reading & writing!

1410 junior year first try, no prep. Try to break 1500 on next try. Best prep book or class suggestions?

D went from 1420 to 1510- woohoo! Sat- done!

Omg. 800 math 740 English!!! S19 is going to flip when he sees it!!

is it possible to see a 40+ increase in two weeks lol, i’m desperate

1440: 650/790

She missed 8 in CR, 12 in writing and 2 in math.

Is 610 on Biology (Ecology) a decent score or is this not worth reporting?

Hi ScootySpicer can you please post your number of wrong answers. Appreciate that.

Hi NJFL123 can you please post your son’s number of mistakes? Would like to see how many mistakes was allowed to get that score.

I’m so happy for everyone getting such great results!!!

40 on Reading with 1 incorrect / 38 on Writing with 2 incorrect / 39.5 on Math with 2 incorrect

S got one wrong on the math and still got an 800. Kind of surprised since he and all of his friends thought the math was super easy. I thought one wrong would be a 790. He and his friends are “math” kids, though. All taking BC calc as juniors so maybe I shouldn’t be surprised.

D missed 2 and got a 790. Hey @homerdog, your S really improved on EBRW score!

@BingeWatcher yes. He will be thrilled with the 740 for sure. Only one wrong on writing. All other errors in reading. He had a good testing day. Higher score than any of the six practice tests he took. So happy for him.

My son’s crew is in Calc BC too. He thought the math section was probably “hard” by SAT standards, meaning there are a few levels and he thought that it was one of the harder ones, so 2 wrong would be a 790. He explained all of this in the car ride home from the test - he knew he got exactly two wrong in the math so was hoping he was correct in his assessment. I remember coming out of the SAT and not knowing my own name. These kids today…

Dd got a 1570, including 800 on math (no missed questions). She’s happy about the math.
