SAT Barrons 2400 + Something else?

Hello, guys!
I'm a little bit confused and I'd really appreciate it if you helped me out a little. I'm currently a junior and I started preparing for all of the SAT Subject Tests that I'm planning to take, but I'm still a little bit confused about SAT 1 and what I should do about it. I missed the PSAT, so basically I have no idea where I stand and how I should prepare. I've done some sample tests and my math is pretty good, but I still have some major problems with the reading and writing parts. I'd like you to recommend some good SAT preparation books that you've used and you've found them good. I looked at Barrons SAT 2400: Aiming for the perfect score, but after a little bit of researching I got the impression that it contained really difficult problems that are actually tougher than the real test. So my question is, would it be a mistake to get that one (since I've never done any serious preparation for the SAT before) and is there any other good book that I can start with and then move on to this one? I think I'll be able to buy two books, so if you think that it would be a good idea to buy another one apart from the Barrons 2400, please let me know. I really don't know what to do when it comes to this test. :(

The Official SAT Study Guide, known as BB2 on the forums, is a must. Vocabulary lists and most other materials can be found online. I don’t know about the CollegeBoard, but I know the ACT gives out free booklets each year that each contain a practice test. Collegeboard might also do this. Subscribe to SAT question a day, utilize this forum, and be diligent, and I’m positive you can reach your goals with the Barrons 2400 book and the BB2.

Thank you very much, I’ll definitely do that. :)

Direct Hits is supposed to be very good for vocab as well
