Hi all
I am a sophomore and I'm signed up to take the SAT Bio. Thing is, I've only had PreAP (honors) Biology, and I'm taking AP Bio senior year. Should I take it now (I only have 3 weeks to prepare for it) or take it first semester senior year after being exposed to some bio and studying over the summer?
Thanks,

I would say take it now, because it should still be fresh in your memory.
Buy a princeton review book, and study it well. Well meaning, read over it at least twice.
And do a couple of practice tests and you should be fine.

I took biology freshman year
I don’t remember anything lol

I say go for it. I’m enrolled in a regular biology class and I am taking the SAT biology this June after school is out.

We’re on physiology and we’ll be taking the final about a week later.

I have to review plants, taxonomy, and ecology (ours was basic at best). I am shooting for a 700+. You can always retake these exams and colleges look at your best score.

If you don’t remember anything… then I’d forget about it. Bio is one of the hardest SAT IIs.

^Well hardest for an 800. If you only want 700+, like a bare 700, it’s possible but you’d have to study a lot. Your choice.
