Hello, I recently took SAT Bio and scored a 750. If I'm considering a medical/science career, should I retake it? Does taking the course AP Bio help?
And also, are the percentile rankings for scores available somewhere online? Thank you!

Here are the percentiles: http://www.4089962002.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderfiles/subjtestpercentileranks.pdf
Honestly, I don’t think that it’s worth it. A 750 is excellent. AP Bio would definitely help. What grade are you in? Also, if you haven’t taken the SAT or any other subject tests, then it would probably be best to focus on those rather than retaking an already fantastic score!
PM me if you have any questions

750 is an excellent score. Yes, if you take AP Bio, then your score should increase.

btw: Percentiles are not used by adcoms.

Take the AP bio, which may be counted for college credits. Generally speaking, SAT subjects tests are easier than the AP tests, and the college admission people know this.

I got a 750 too on the SAT II Bio E sophomore year. I’m on the pre-med track too. Anything above a 700 is good. Also, as state above, definitely take AP Bio. Colleges care more about courses and ECs than one SAT II score.

Taking AP is good; if you want to take the SAT II again I highly recommend you to take it after you take an AP Bio course. I got an 800 on my SAT II Bio without too much studying because studying for the AP really helped in preparing me for the SAT.

yeah, sounds make sense

I took the SAT Bio in 9th grade, got an 800 on M … honestly I was expecting a lot lower of a score considering that I guessed on a bunch of questions, but HEY I’m not complaining lol
