i got a 750 on the biology ecology sat 2. however i got a 5 on both my ap bio and ap enivronmental science test. i (and my parents) wanted me to get at least a 770. should i bother retaking it (since its a pretty good score)? will my ap scores make up for the score? im thinking about majoring in bio.

If you’re majoring in Bio, then you should probably retake. It’s a matter of opinion; look at it this way…

If someone got a 780 or 790 and asked to retake, I would think that’s absurb because there is such a small chance they can get better.

However, someone who got a 750 (which is good. don’t get me wrong, its really good) is probably likely to score higher than that the next time.

I’m studying for the October Bio M. PM me for study plans if you’re wondering.

Good luck!

i plan on majoring in bio if i go premed, i got a 5 on the ap exam, 740 on the test. i know i wouldve gotten like a 780 it’s just that i got 2 really easy ones wrong, which i realized right afterwards. i wouldnt bother studying, you have plenty of other college stuff to do. just take it if you want and see if you do better (no study). with score choice it doesn’t matter

50 points doesn’t really make a difference. especially in the 750+ range.
