Could anyone tell me about it before I take the test in May?
And what is the most important topic?
I have Barron's SAT Biology Book

How many can u miss n still clock a 800

Yea basically

I saw that before, is that the case all the time?

Um, did anyone take the AP Bio exam? If so, are investigations in the test? It’s a section in Barron’s and my teacher just told me to take notes…

Bump.

So I took a Princeton Review practice test and I got a 600…is the test harder than the real thing?

I found PR/Barron’s tests harder than the actual exam. I consistently scored in the 600s on them but got a 730 on the real thing.

question: does the SAT subject test cover the labs that AP does?

No they don’t, I believe it is more about knowing the terms than analyzing like the new AP exam, am I right? Someone confirm?

Off topic question. Is the international Biology booklet on test day the same as the one given in the USA?

What if I get below a 650? I can’t retake it because I need to take Math Level 2…

I’m not so sure practice tests are a good estimate. On Barron’s, which is supposedly the hardest book with exams that are way harder than the real test, I actually got a 790 of my first Bio M and a 760 on my second bio M.

The real thing today seemed for more challenging. I left 7 blank and I guessed on a bunch, which I suspect will get me an even lower score.

As for the Bio E curve, it depends. Although it’s generally known that the E curve tends to be better than the M one. My Barron’s practice tests say that you can miss 3 questions and still have 800.

Yea so if I get below a 600, should I retake? I have to take Math 2 in June and SAT 3rd time in Oct.

It depends what college you’re aiming for. If it’s a college whose info says their applicants/enrolled student generally gets 700+s on their sections, then you’ll need to retake until you get within that range.

Yep.

Should I cancel if I got around 600? I don’t know if I should cancel because I don’t want to take it again in June, I don’t think I’ll do better because I’m studying for Math level 2 for June.
