less than a week left y’all. How are you guys doing on studying?

I have almost finished studying, finishing touches on both Barron’s and Kaplan’s books… Feel really nervous though, trying to score somewhere around 750+
I have about 70 pages left in Barron’s to read (started studying like 13 days ago - stupid move) but I think if I really focus I can do it. I’ve been averaging somewhere around 85-90% on the chapter quizzes/tests so I’m hoping for a 740+ on the exam.
Question: how much of it will be on scientist and human physiology (functions of eyes, mouth, organs, etc)? There seems to be a lot of the latter in the book and some of it seems irrelevant to microbiology and ecology.
Orjioke33: I have only done the test once, and I don’t quite remember but I think there weren’t many questions regarding human physiology. However, many practice tests like to ask questions about kidneys and the heart, and also enzymes in digestion and all that. I have encountered a question about eyes and ears maybe once or twice
Barron’s seems to focus a lot on ecology (phylums etc): how important is it to know each phylum and the interior of the organisms etc? I am doing the molecular test so, eeh.
@miulaja Well, I looked through the blue book of subject tests. And for the biology one, it was mostly like “which domain would this organism belong too? and it would like give a description of the organism.” I know, i’m pretty scared too because PR goes into extensive detail with taxonomy and stuff and i’m worried I haven’t spent enogh time on it.
@wattba12 Alright, thanks! I am going to try to work on that - I took IB Biology HL instead of AP so the concentration on certain topics is completely different…
Under 5 days to the test! Time for intensive studying and revision (:
Hey guys, I’m taking M too and I hope for 750+
I am having trouble with ecology and also plants (cause I skipped it). So I am focusing on these. And also ofcorse in graving human physiology chapter from Barron’s in my head
@wattba12 I always thought Barron’s was most detailed, but for the taxonomy , PR goes a long way in getting me a heart attack.
I tried to study all the terminology before I slept and then woke up early 30 minutes and re read them, and I think I know them now. Try this if your having trouble with something
@wattba12 Barrons says that eyes and ears often pop up on the actual test. I assume the basics of the circulatory system (closed/open, arteries vs veins) that type of stuff will be on there since that was stressed in Barron’s. I’m not sure about the rest.
@wattba12 do you remember what you put for the question that asked about the oogenycytes and like what we could conclude from the results? I put that that sperm doesn’t fertilize an egg right away
