SAT Biology M: Princeton Review or Barron's?

<p>I've been looking at some old threads, and most say PR or Barron's. Which one would you recommend? I'm kinda iffy about Barron's because Barron's math II screwed me over(I only studied hard stuff and NOTHING like that was on the actual sat, only the easy ones that screwed me over).</p>

<p>If anyone used both books before, which one would you recommend? I'm not looking for something that will waste my time and make me study things that are not even going to be on the actual exam at all(I have many other things to study for), but will still get me an 800.</p>

<p>Are there any other ones you'd recommend? How about Mcgraw-hill or Kaplan?</p>

<p>I HATE practice tests that are way harder than the real thing (aka: Barron's). PR's were (in my opinion) fairly accurate.</p>

<p>We'll see if it paid off come June 26.</p>

<p>i used barrons. i got 800 on bio m. barrons is what i recommend. i took ap biology too though~</p>

<p>I recommend PR completely. It has realistic questions and tips that would help you succeed with the lab questions. The tests are very accurate and it has great preparation. I am confident I got an 800 with PR. [=</p>

<p>I completely agree with Barron's for Math II, god I hated that book! But for Bio, I actually think Barron's was pretty good...I went through that book first, and then PR for a kind of review/extra studying, which I think is what helped the most. Because Barron's is kind of intense at times, PR helps re-confirm what you learned, etc...BUT the Barron's edition that I got came with a CD with 2 practice tests that were helpful because the computer format or whatever was really easy to use like the day before the actual test. I would recommend getting both and running through them if you have time! Flashcards are really helpful too!</p>

<p>PR!!! Alot of the questions were exactly the same as on the test. =]</p>
