Thoughts on Barron's for SAT Bio?

Also, does anyone know of any free online practice tests that they could maybe PM or share a link of?

bump

If you have a lot of time before the exam, then Barrons would be fine. If you have a few weeks, or less than a month, then Princeton Review is a better choice.

I self-studied for like 2,3 months using Barron’s and Kaplan’s.
I did okay… 750 on Biology E.
Barron’s pretty good but I’ve heard they are some excess materials in it though.

Barron’s has a lot of excess material. Particularly the plant and ecology chapter.

@sewook123 @DarkEclipse do you guys know how well the new AP Bio curriculum aligns with the SAT Bio? are there any specific topics/areas that sat bio may test on which isn’t in AP Bio?

thanks

I don’t take AP Bio.
I’m taking CIE A level Biology.

I haven’t taken AP Bio yet, but I took the Bio E subject sat and got a score of 800. I would recommend reading through Princeton Review cover to cover.

I recommend Princeton review. I got a 730 on it

I’ve heard that AP Bio would prepare you for the Biology Subject test.
I assume that there would be more stuffs on AP Bio then on SAT Subject Bio.
I’ve also heard that Princeton Review has practice exams similar to the actual tests.
Get as much practice as you can.
