Do you guys know any good books that can maximize your score? On a diagnostic I've taken without any studying or practice I got a 2140 (low 700's in all of the categories) and I want to try to get at least a 2300. I'm entering my sphmore year and I'm going to take it my senior year. I really appreciate the help.

with 2140 now,you will only go down.

what do you mean?

wth you need not worry, your going into sophmore year with a freaking 2140, just get the collegeboard blue book and take your time :)

Make sure that the diagnostic test you took is accurate. I would recommend you take the "Practice test" from collegeboard.com It just so happens that it is the SAT from the March 05 administration, so it is about as accurate as you can get.

Also, you can read reviews of virtually every SAT prep book on ceeae.org

2140 is a great score as a sophmore, assuming that the diag test you took is accurate. Oracle is messed up, you can definitely improve your score.

Grammatix for CR maybe writing too

Barron's Math workbook for.. math

how is gruebers?

Chris_CEEAE... it was only an attempt at humor. Does anybody else think it was funny that a freshman is worrying about 2140?

btw... do you have any connection to the ceeae.org website?

Take your time, you still have plenty of it. You're not even going into junior year yet so the first thing you will have to deal with (psat) is still a year away. Enjoy high school, but to review for the SAT I always recommend the Princeton Review.

I must be getting on in years, because that's the 2nd time someone had to tell me that they were joking.

I am going to go get an earlyBird special with extra fiber to keep me regular. I feel like the elderly neighbor on Family Guy: "make sure you stretch those creamy hamstrings"...

i think he found ceeae or something. like a secret founder.

whatever.

it's all good oracle. i thought it was funny how a freshman was worrying, too.
soon, people'll start taking sat's in their sophmore year. i know little jr highschoolers who can get 740s on every section. -_-;

don't use the blue book yet! save it for last :)
if you do use it, just hope collegeboard will print another one by the time you're done.
