what would be the best SAT book to get? I have the blue book but it doesn't give explanations on the test so i want to get another book. thanks

sliguy101: Look at all the other threads that ask exactly the same thing.

For math, Gruber's and Barron's workbook are good.
For writing, the blue book is good for grammar. RocketReview is good for the essays.
For reading, I honestly think the best way to get better is to read magazines, books, and newspapers, and to pay attention to tone, main idea, and actually understanding what the guy's saying. Making inferences is important too. For vocab, Gruber's has a great list. Make sure you use the words in everyday speech.

And read all the other suggestions.

All of the Blue Book answer explanations are available online for free. Just go to the SAT online course page (which you can also get for free...) and look for a tiny little link.

thanks for the comments. but to get the answer explanations, don't i have to pay for the online course? I checked it out and couldn't find the link to let me see the explanations
