Hi All
Just wanted to know what books are being referred to for the new SAT for the year 2016. Have heard good things about Erica Meltzers verbal books but wanted second opinion.
Also for Maths learnt about the STeve Warners books but havent heard the name before so have a few reservations. What about the usual suspects Kaplan Princeton etc
Kallis and IvyGlobal are the best ones in terms of closely aligned/realistic practice tests.
My S2 took the new SAT in March. He used Barron’s “New SAT” for the practice tests (no other prep) and did great.
@FatDevil Kaplan, Princeton, and Barron’s are all pretty similar, but I would stay away from those until revisions are made. College Panda’s SAT Writing and College Panda’s SAT Math (you can type it in the way on Amazon) are the best books out there for those two sections. SAT Reading is a bit tricker. Some prefer Erica Meltzer’s books, but, personally I am learning the best from Manhattan Prep’s New SAT Reading book.
