SAT Books

I'm a rising junior and want to do a good deal of PSAT/SAT studying over the summer. As a sophomore I scored a 208 on the PSAT. I recently took a practice SAT mathematics section and scored an 800. So mathematics, while I will study for, is not too big a worry.

In terms of preparatory books, I've heard that the Collegeboard Blue Book is a given, so I'm certainly buying it. In addition I've heard that the Direct Hits book is good for vocabulary. I would like to obtain more books for studying, possibly the Barron's book, Barron's 2400, or the McGraw Hill book -- books that I've heard are good for CR and W. My question is which of these books should I get? Or are there other books I should get to prepare for critical reading and writing?

Also, is there a difference between the Barron's book and Barron's 2400 such that I should get both of them?

Thanks.

Everything you need is there. I would strongly advise using those free guides before buying any prep books.
