SAT Breakfest??

what is the best for breakfast for the test day should I bring like energy drinks with me on the Test ??

i find that for me energy drinks make me jittery and hard to focus. eat a breakfast with some protein and fat (eggs and sausage?) as well as some carbs to give you a jump start. before the test, do half a practice section or something to get your mind going. and don’t stress too much :)

^ unless that is what you usually eat, i don’t necessarily recommend shifting your diet one day solely for the purpose of test-taking. while it may give you a needed initial boost, you may still feel a bit strange halfway/at the end of the test.

eat what you normally eat when going to school (if you don’t do eat anything on normal school days, eat a little of what you usually eat on weekends or days when you have time to eat). bring a bottle of water/energy bars with nutrients, instead of snacks; hunger can also distract you.

in general, don’t experiment with things - it is best for you to take a test as normally as possible. i do advise to do a couple of problems to warm your brain up, but again, don’t try to overdo it - extra practice will not help you an hour before the test.

Eat a normal breakfast- too much and you’ll get digestion ‘waves’. You’ll Be digesting upon arrival, and be in that relaxing mode when you should be at the top of your game.

Some meat is ok, but a full omlette and pancakes are a nono. You get snack times- recharge then. Eat fibers to stay focused the entire day.

Don’t try caffeine/energy drinks if you suffer from relapses at the end of its effect. If you’re not affected much, 5 Hour Energy, Monster, Red Bull, Starbucks w/e does help most. Do not chug everything before starting; drink in moderation.

I took the SAT’s hungover and sleep deprived, dont do that.

Thanks guys.

1-One French Omlet Sandwich (normal omlet but add cheddar cheese)
2-Tuna Sandwich with vegies in it
3-Cup of Black Nescafe

Enjoy The Test ;)

2-3 Scrambled Eggs. 1-2 pieces of toast. 1 Piece of fruit. Lots of water.

Bring granola bars & fruit to eat during the test.

I prefer some medium-rare steak with red wine. Keep it classy, CollegeConfidential.

lets all meet up at an ihop equidistant from all of our locations and have a CC united breakfast, then diverge onto our many different paths and tear apart the scholastic aptitude test.
