I am a fool. I retook the Nov 4 SAT, hoping to superscore by doing well on the Math section. I was on section 3 and, halfway through, I realized that I was working on section 4. I quickly erased all the marks, and bubbled the rest of the test properly. But now I’m really worried that the scantron machines cannot grade those answers on section 4. Score releases are in 10 days, and I might have to retake the SAT in December (which I can do because almost all of my colleges’ deadlines are later) Do you think this will impact me? I guess I’ll find out in about 10 days.
While I’m not sure about what will happen to your test, I thought you’re supposed to raise your hand and let the proctor know if you fill in the wrong section of the answer sheet during the test? (At least they say so during the preliminary things before the test starts). Just something to know in the future.
Yes, they did. IDK why I didn’t though. I placed too much trust in erasing the bubbles.
