I was reading the sparknotes info about SAT II Chem, and its chart gave a 1-point curve for Chem... This seems, well wrong, but i haven't been able to find information about it. Can someone tell me the actual curve?

Nah, it's more like 3 - 4 points. I left 2 blank and believe I got 2 more wrong, and I got a 790 (I tell people - especially those chem geniuses - it's an 800 since that's what it basically is :P )

actually you can get like a 78 out of 85 in the exam and still get an 800

i received a 730 on the June Chem SAT2, but after taking the test i was sure i missed 20+ problems...

naidu I dont think that curve always holds up. Maybe since my test edition was easier, it had a tougher curve.

Can anyone post the Chem curve from the new CB book?

This is from Barrons:

85-75 = 800-800
75-70 = 800-780
70-65 = 780-750
65-60 = 750-720
60-55 = 720-700
55-50 = 700-680
50-45 = 680-650
45-40 = 650-620
40-35 = 620-590
35-50 = 590-560
etc...

Any lower than that and you shouldn't be taking the test.
